Kenya and Uganda have agreed to merge cultures as they form tourism pact.
Kenya and Uganda are joining forces to promote cross-cultural tourism, aiming to attract more visitors by showcasing a blend of their unique cultures, including traditional dances, cuisines, and activities. This collaboration follows a recent visit by the Ugandan consulate to Mombasa, where they participated in the Uganda Festival – a cultural and culinary event designed to attract international and Kenyan tourists.
A report by the Kenyan business news publication Business Daily showed that Kenya and Uganda are looking to collaborate to boost tourism revenue. They have decided to integrate certain aspects of their culture to attract more visitors including dance, traditional cuisines, and cultural activities.
