Uganda Eases Covid-19 Entry Requirements
Travelers entering Uganda no longer need to show proof of vaccination or provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test certificate. If you are transiting or departing, you should be aware of entry requirements at your final destination.
The Port Health authorities may check passengers’ temperatures and screen them for infectious diseases on arrival. You may be required to take a Covid-19 test if your temperature is higher than normal or you display Covid-19 symptoms. Those who test positive for Covid -19 and wish to be repatriated for treatment outside of Uganda must cover their own expenses.
If the destination country requires vaccination certificates or PCR tests, passengers departing Uganda still need to show a valid vaccination certificate or a negative test at Entebbe Airport before check-in.
