Uganda is planning to build its second-largest international airport in Kidepo to boost tourism! Talks are underway with investors from the UAE, according to Tourism Minister Tom Butime. Tourists will be able to fly directly into Kidepo and explore nearby parks like Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, and Lake Mburo.
This follows Uganda’s recent agreement to develop Arua Airport, currently the second busiest after Entebbe, into an international airport. Expanding airports is a key part of Uganda’s development plans for the future.
